Union County CEO is grateful to the Southernmost Illinois Delta Empowerment Zone, Inc. (SIDEZ) for its generous donation to our program!
SIDEZ is a regional nonprofit, based in Mounds, that works on economic and community development across southern Illinois. For more than 25 years, it has worked to strengthen our region through collaboration, investment, and opportunity. That mission fits naturally with what our students are learning in CEO every day.
We were honored to welcome Tabatha Smith, Executive Director of SIDEZ, to our September board meeting, where she presented the check to Board Chairman Angela Boyd. Thank you, Tabatha, for taking the time to meet with our board and students in person.
