Grace Schroeder is a senior at Cobden High School. Grace is currently involved in volleyball, Beta Club, FCCLA, Art Club, and various other clubs. She assisted in coaching the Jr. High volleyball for the last two years. Grace plans to attend University of Kentucky after highschool studying pre-med.

Her business-Soulful Sayings-is a home decor sign making business which focuses on positive sayings hand painted on wood. Soulful Sayings was inspired by some of the negativity in the world and wants to provide positive messages in the community's households. Grace S. on a practice business plan--It was interesting to me that the same business could be so different in other people’s eyes. That just showed me how uniquely everyone thinks.

On Aaron Goeckner: I think my favorite thing he said to us what about how he got the scholarship. He didn't have the highest ACT score, but he knew how to talk to people and be respectful and hard working, and that is what won him that. I related to that on so many levels. I might not get the highest scores, but it just comes to show if you work hard to get what you want, you will succeed.

On Micro-Business Team Meeting--I really liked how we got to work on our shirts and get prices and everything organized. I felt is was very eventful being able to work as a collaborative group and get things done.

John Nimmo spoke some powerful words to us. It really made me think about my future and what I’m doing right, and what I’m doing wrong. I really enjoyed what he taught us and I’d love to hear him speak again.
