About Me

Alyssa is currently a senior at Cobden High School. She is also an Honors Escrow Scholarship recipient, taking college courses through Shawnee Community College, and is on track to earn her associate degree upon graduating from high school. She serves not only as president of her school’s Beta Club chapter but also of the Illinois State Beta Club. She participates in several other extracurricular activities and holds leadership positions among them. Alyssa is a 2025 QuestBridge College Prep Scholar, a Hispanic National Board Foundation law camp alumna, participant in the 2025 WashU FLI-In for Arts and Sciences, and participant in the 2025 Girls Lead program through the Lieutenant Governor’s Office, where she shadowed the policy director. Through the CEO program, Alyssa is eager to learn the stories behind her community and the foundation that builds success.
