What a morning at Trainor Ag Products, LLC.🌱
Our young professionals joined the Johnson County CEO program for a visit with Paul and Sarah Trainor and members of their management team, and we can't thank them enough for opening their doors and sharing so openly with us. Team members present included: Danny Windings, Matt Needling, Dustin Curtingor, Judy Logan and Robert Prater.
Paul walked us through how Trainor Ag began, starting from a regular job, just like most people do, and growing into a business that now sells in 13 states, moves around 500,000 bags of beans and 100,000 bags of corn, and even has its own line of ag products.
Several things really stuck with our team:✔️ Hearing from team members who built successful careers without a college degree, and how many paths there are after high school
✔️ Paul's honesty about the hard parts. As he put it, something is going to go wrong every single day, and that's where the room to improve comes from
✔️ How much relationships matter, with customers and employees alike
✔️ Seeing how many businesses live under the Trainor Ag umbrella, including employees with their own businesses that connect back to the whole
Our young entrepreneurs left inspired not just by Paul's success, but by how humble and down to earth he and Sarah are. That kind of transparency is a gift to future leaders. 💚
Trainor Ag is also one of our program investors, and we are so grateful for their support of Union County CEO and the young people in our community.
Thank you, Paul, Sarah, and the entire Trainor Ag team, and thank you to Johnson County CEO for sharing the morning with us!
