Our UCCEO young professionals had the opportunity to attend the October Union County Chamber of Commerce meeting at Los Dos Gallos! 🤝🌮
Experiences like this are one of the most valuable parts of the CEO program. 🌟 Sitting in on a Chamber meeting introduces our students to the community organizations that work behind the scenes to support local businesses and strengthen our area. 🏘️ They get a firsthand look at what these groups do, who is involved, and why it matters so much for people to show up, connect, and invest their time in the community they call home.
Sitting around the table were so many of the community and business leaders who make the Union County CEO program possible, including board members, mentors, investors, and guest speakers. 👏 What a special thing for our students to see the very people who pour into them every week also showing up for our community in this way.
These are the moments that help our students see themselves as future leaders, business owners, and engaged community members. 💼 Their understanding of how a community thrives grows every time they're welcomed into rooms like this one. 🌱
A big thank you to the Union County Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development for the invitation and for treating us to another delicious lunch! 🙏 We are so grateful for partners who open their doors to our students and invest in the next generation. 💙
