☕🏡 Business Visit Spotlight: Mother Coffee & Provisions – Cobden, IL

This morning our CEO team had the opportunity to visit Mother Coffee & Provisions, owned by Brooke Miller and located in the beautifully restored historic Old Feed Store in downtown Cobden. The space is a true example of creative entrepreneurship — featuring a coffee shop, event venue, and an upstairs Airbnb all under one roof.

Brooke shared her inspiring journey — from growing up in Union County to building a diverse career that spans corporate leadership, international service, healthcare, and higher education. Her message to our young professionals was powerful: dream big, work hard, don’t feel pressured to have everything figured out, and remember that big opportunities can come from small towns.

A recurring theme throughout her story was the importance of giving back and using your skills to make a positive impact — something Brooke clearly lives out through her work and community involvement.
