🎥 Today we’re honored to share a short conversation with Byram Fager from the Southern Illinois Community Foundation and CEO alumna, Lexie Lingle (Class of 2021). Lexie shared how the CEO experience helped her build confidence, develop leadership skills, and create meaningful connections that have followed her into college and her career. Her story, like so many of our alumni, reminds us that the heart of this program is the student experience—giving young people the chance to discover opportunities right here in their own communities. When students see what is possible in Union County, they’re empowered to envision futures here, contribute to local economic development, and strengthen the place they call home. These experiences and outcomes are only possible because of our community’s belief in investing in young people and giving them opportunities to grow.
