CEO Business Visits

Peaceful Pet Resort

Becky Duty
The Peaceful Pet Resort has been one of our favorite visits so far only because we met and played with some of  the happiest customers-the dogs!  We were all impressed with the passion that Becky Duty has for her business and the emphasis she places on customer service.  Becky aims to not only satisfy her human customers but also works to ensure that all the dogs in her care are treated like she would want her own loved dogs to be treated.

Jordo's Pizzeria

Anthony Edwards
What a wonderful way to start the day! At Jordo's Pizzeria, we were greeted by owner, Anthony Edwards, and a fresh, hot pizza. As we ate, Anthony explained to us how he became the owner of a pizzeria. We were impressed with Anthony's past work experience and his willingness to learn and to try different vocations and businesses. We learned that it can be difficult to juggle different businesses but if you like what you do, it is worth it.

Student Journal Highlights for this week

On Peaceful Pet Resort: Another thing that really stuck with me was when Mrs. Becky Duty told us  to “treat your customers right and pay attention to their needs”.

On Peaceful Pet Resort:  Mrs. Becky Duty has a tremendous passion for what she does and it is very admirable. I enjoyed being able to see the kind of operation she runs as well as getting to meet a few of her clients.

Get Involved in CEO

The manner in which the CEO program is funded is critical to its success and sustainability. All funds raised are used exclusively for the Union County CEO program. To participate, a 3-year $1000 per year commitment is required. Business Partner Investors commitments of time and energy are also critical to the program's success. Contributions may be tax deductible, as our organization is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization.

When we are not touring local businesses, we need a place to host the class. During that time, the 0 CEO students and their Facilitator would meet at your site where they would also have guest speakers and guests from the community attend. Hosting requires a facility with internet access and adequately accommodates up to 5 people.

We are looking for people to share real-life stories about the concepts of running a business, from strategic thinking, product development to marketing, and cash flow management. Also, sharing your personal successes and failures are what recent classes have enjoyed the most.

If you are interested in participating in any of the above programs, use our contact form to send us a message
